About Me
Hola, I’m Meibell, and I’m a computer scientist with a deep passion for education.
For 14 years, I have worked as a Software Developer, Project Manager, and Tech Leader for various consulting companies. In 2012, I had the opportunity to teach programming and technology to young adults at a Columbia University community program and I fell in love with teaching.
Since then, I have taught high school students in STEM programs at Barnard College, elementary and middle school students from a Catholic school, a Yeshiva, Homeschool settings and a Public School. In 2016, I also began teaching Spanish to children and adults.
Besides enjoying teaching, I enjoy hiking, swimming in lakes and going camping.
